How this works.
This is a directory, not a chatbot. Ask a question and you get Baylor’s exact words, in their original order, with a citation and a capture date. AI only finds and ranks passages; it never writes the answer.
The rules we hold ourselves to
- Verbatim or nothing. Quoted text is lifted character-for-character from the cited Baylor page. If the answer lives in an image, we say so and show the image.
- Every answer is cited, with a link that opens the live official page, highlighted at the exact sentence, so you can verify in one tap.
- “Sorry, we’re not sure” is a real answer. No guessing. Unanswered questions go to the public gap log.
- Freshness is visible. Every quote carries the date we captured it. Deadlines are re-verified against the official calendar.
- Nothing behind a login is mirrored. Signed-in tools get a deep link and directions, never their content.
What’s under the hood
A local archive of 12,013 public Baylor pages (182,592 passages, as of July 2026), searched by exact keywords and by meaning, routed through a hand-verified registry of common tasks. Screenshots inside Baylor’s how-to PDFs are transcribed so the pixel-trapped steps are searchable too.
Report a wrong answer
Spotted something stale, misrouted, or plain wrong? Ask the question on the home page and hit “Report this answer” underneath it, or email [email protected]. Wrong answers get fixed at the source, not patched over.
